Q: Does TradingDepot only supply to the trade?
A: No, Trading Depot supplies both retail and trade customers. Any member of the public can purchase using our website without the need of creating an account. Trade customers can also purchase items via the website using payment with a card or using our soon to be set up credit account facility.
Q: Can I place an order over the telephone?
A: Yes, but as we are primarily an internet company we would prefer that you place your order online.
Q: Can I open a credit account facility on the Trading Depot website?
A: This is a feature we hope to be adding soon and more news on this will follow shortly.
Q: What does it mean to save my details?
A: You will have the option to save your details, the first time that you use the site. That way for all future transactions, you just need to enter your username and password and all your details will be populated in the relevant fields.
It is also helpful as you are able to view your order history and have multiple forms of payment for future transactions.
Q: I have forgotten my username and password, what do I do?
A: If you have forgotten your username and password, simply click on the "forgot your password" link in the login box and we will email your details to you.
Q: Can I track my order?
A: Yes, you can track your order. Please see our Track Your Order Page
Q: I have a Voucher / Promotional code, how do I use it?
A: Once you have found your chosen item and added this into your basket, there will be a field that asks for a promotional code, simply enter your code into this box and it will deduct the discount to which you are entitled to.
Q: Are my details secure?
A: Shopping on tradingdepot.co.uk is as secure as shopping in any store. Your credit card details will be encrypted to help keep them secure. Please note that tradingdepot.co.uk Ltd take security very seriously and will never ask for your username, password or credit card details via email.
As soon as you enter the checkout screen, your browser will go into secure mode, making all of your details encrypted, it does this by creating billions of code combinations to protect each transaction that has been made on our site, making sure that no-one else can get hold of your credit card details.
Your credit card details will never be saved on our system.
Q: What happens if my credit / debit card gets rejected?
A: If your credit/debit card gets rejected then please re-submit your order. If you have to submit your order more than twice then please contact your card provider who will be able to advise on why your card has been rejected.
