Trading Depot is the trading name of TRADING DEPOT U.K. Ltd and was established in July 2007 with the goal of creating the leading DIY and Trade website.
www.tradingdepot.co.uk was launched in March 2008 as a one-stop solution for the Trade, DIY Markets and retail. Originally launched with just 7,500 products, it now boasts over 19,000 products available to buy online, with hundreds of new ones being added each month.

In February 2010 Trading Depot moved into a new purpose built warehouse to allow us to keep a larger inventory of stock and increase the speed of delivery still further. We aim to supply a fantastic range of stocked items, dispatched throughout the United Kingdom within 48 hours, at competitive prices.
The Trading Depot website is supported by 30,000 square feet of warehouse stock ensuring that, where possible, orders will be dispatched within 48 hours.
The website currently includes products such as Plumbing, Heating, Lighting, Electrical, Showers, Shower Trays, Building materials and Bathroom Suites which feature some of the leading industry brands.
You do not need to register to place an order, simply add the item to your basket and checkout. You can, of course, register if you wish and your address details will be stored for your next visit. All shipping charges are shown clearly when you checkout and more information can be found on our Delivery Charges page.
We take all orders via the website as this is the most secure method. There are security processes in place to protect you as the customer and none of our staff ever get to see your credit card details.
As soon as you enter the checkout screen, your browser will go into secure mode, making all of your details encrypted, it does this by creating billions of code combinations to protect each transaction that has been made on our site, making sure that no-one else can get hold of your credit card details.
Trading Depot has assigned ParcelForce, City Link, Royal Mail & Southern Express to deliver your orders. To ensure quality service, we send an email with your personal tracking number to enable you to track your item.
Online tracking of parcels is available on the ParcelForce, City Link & Royal Mail websites.

At Trading Depot we take your card security seriously. As an extra security measure so you know that your details are completely secure, we use Verified by Visa and Mastercard 3D Secure Payment programs, in addition to the VeriSign 128 bit encrypted card security.
We are have also signed up to the ISIS Internet Shopping is Safe and Internet Delivery is Safe schemes.
Neither our website nor our staff have anyway of seeing your card details.
In July 2010 Trading Depot added Paypal to the payment section of the website, so this will help speed up the payment process, there is also a newer, faster way of paying by credit/debit card which is referred to as a Token Payment Scheme.
Our web site is linked directly to our central computer system for order processing and dispatch. That means our prices are always accurate and we can dispatch goods within minutes of receiving your order. Building on technology from Solarsoft Business Systems our goal is to deliver the highest levels of online service to our trade and retail customers
We continue to recruit more staff at Trading Depot to help out both in the office and in the warehouse wrapping and packing up orders. We now have our own photographic studio where we are able to take our own images of the stock to then publish on the website and have recently launched the Trading Depot YouTube Channel
We will also be adding more products including further bathroom ranges and suites, more electrical manufacturers, and more building ranges enabling a better choice of products.
In the near futire Trading Depot will be able to offer a Credit Account facility on the website.
