Surface Insulated consumer units with either an isolator, choice of module numbers ranging from 4, 8, 16 to 21. Manufactured by MK. All units are magnolia coloured & feature a robust base with an all over front cover moulded in an impact resistant.
Contactum Surface Metal Consumer Units with 100A Isolator BS EN 60439-3. All units feature an enclosure box of welded construction finished in a tough coating of polyester epoxy paint containing ample knockouts in top, bottom, side and rear surfaces.
Garage and Shower consumer unit 16 or 32 MCB. MCB's detect overcurrents due to both overload and fault currents. The MCB will operate and interrupt the supply to prevent damage to the installation.
Residual Current Breaker Overload and Bell transformer. An RCBO is a combination of an MCB and RCD, this enables both overcurrent protection and earth fault current protection by a single unit.
Split Load consumer units are probably the safest type of consumer unit available today. As well as having overload and short circuit protection they also have earth leakage protection on the RCD protected side of the unit.
Consumer Unit Enclosures IP30 or IP65 with mounting rail, neutral and earth terminals. The insulated consumer units are manufactured from high impact, flame retardent, ABS material, coloured magnolia.
Stacking kits enable two consumer units to be stacked (joined together) to form one integral consume. Stacking kits available for 12, 16 and 21 modules units. Kits include frame nuts, bolts and earth cable (for bonding earth terminal bars together).
Consumer Unit Cartridge Fuse available in 5, 15, 20, 45 and 60 AMPs. All manufacutred by Wylex.
