Scalpings in Bulk Bag, 850kg

Although sometimes known as tonne bags, the actual weight is approx 850kg .

Scalpings are typically produced from crushed limestone or granite and are used to create a solid foundation for patios and driveways.

150mm of Scalpings suitably compacted is suggested as a minimum depth in order to provide firm foundation on most ground types and a single bulk bag contains enough scalpings to cover approximately 2.8m2 of ground laid at this depth.

IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFO.

Bulk bags of scalpings are delivered by tail-lift (not crane) and so we cannot lift over walls or fences

The positioning of your goods is at the driver's discretion and the unloading surface must be smooth and level i.e not sloped, gravel or grass.

Delivery to areas that are slopes, hills, or grass can prove problematic and if a delivery cannot be made we will have to make an “Abandoned Delivery Charge” to cover the high costs of returning the goods back to us.
