Suspended Floor Systems
JG Speedfit has several options for installing underfloor heating with suspended floors. In the images above you can see the following are numbered:
1. Speedfit layflat barrier pipe
2. Spreader plates / underfit insulation board.
JG Speedfit's underfloor heating systems for suspended floors offer two different methods:
Aluminium spreader plates fitted from above in the case of traditional joists or from below when used with engineered I-Beam joist systems.
JG 'Underfit' boards can be used either under the floor between existing joists or over existing floors between battens.
In all cases it is important that the floor decking is in contact with the plate or boards to maximise the efficiency of the heat transfer.
