Warmup® Metal Fixing Band - 25m (Pack 10) - MFB-25M Details
When installing the Warmup® Inscreed cable underfloor heating system it is recommended that you also use the Warmup metal fixing band to hold the cable in place.
Installation Details
When installing the fixing bands it is recommended that they are used perpendicular to the heating cable runs, evenly spaced at 0.75m intervals. You should also bear in mind that the bands should be placed so as to leave a minimum of 100mm border all the way around the room. Once correctly position the MFB should be secured to the insulation (or concreate) using fixing tape, adhesive or fixing nails. It is important to ensure that there is no movement of the fixings.
Once the fixing band are in place, the cable should be laid up and down the room and clipped into the fixing strip. The cable spacing is determined by the product model (see sizing guide). The cable should be spaced evenly to ensure an evenly heated floor (min spacing 50mm). Never cross or touch the cables. Please refer to installation manual for complete instructions)
