The Bahco Bypass Looping Shears are an ideal addition that helps with the pruning of trees and shrubs within the home and garden, a cutting blade of loppers that slides past a counterblade in a scissor action. With a pivot bolt, the Bahco Loppers add a unique design feature creates a slicing motion during cutting, which greatly assists the pruning of live wood and spreads the cut over a larger area of the blade for increased life. The Lopping Shears has a hook shape and holds the branch steady during cutting, reducing the area of contact between the blade and counterblade resulting in less friction and sticking.
