Our sequential thermostatic showers are suitable for all recognised plumbing systems including gravity, mains pressurised, pumped and combi boilers. Note! On gravity systems, the minimum distance from the underside of the cold water storage tank to the shower head must be 1 metre.

0.1 bar (1.45 psi).
Maximum water pressure
5 bar (72.5 psi).
Maximum hot water supply
80°C. Note! The inlet hot water temperature must be at least 10°C above the required blend temperature.
The inlet connections are 15mm compression elbows. The distance between the inlet connections on the valve is between 138-145mm.
The outlet can be from a top or bottom connection that is 1/2″ BSP male.
The body and valve is of full brass construction.
The temperature and flow is controlled individually by one easy to operate handle. The temperature is thermostatically controlled and therefore produces stabilised showering temperatures to within +/- 1°C. The temperature is factory set at 43°C and can be easily adjusted to suit site conditions.
The thermostatic cartridge will shut off in the case of either hot of cold failure. The inlet hot water temperature must be at least 10°C above the blended temperature.
Flow limiters are supplied for use with unbalanced or high pressure systems.

All Bristan showers are individually tested and are designed to conform to BS EN 1111. They have also been tested by the Water Research Centre and are approved by the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme and comply with all UK water regulations (subject to correct installation).
Each Bristan shower is guaranteed for 5 years covering all manufacturing defects. This does not apply to any products that have been damaged during fitting or miss-use. Gold and special colour finishes are often softer than chrome plate, therefore a 3 year guarantee covers these finishes.
All plumbing installations must conform to the legal requirements laid down in the Water Regulations. It is strongly recommended that no sealing compounds be used on any of the connections to the shower as sealing ‘O’ rings and compression joints are fitted to all relevant connections.
