Vitra was established in 1942 in Istanbul, Turkey and is now a manufacturer of ceramic sanitaryware and bathroom accessories across the whole of Europe including a share of the prestigeous Villeroy&Boch tile operation.
The primary goal of VitrA’s quality systems is meeting customer expectations while acting responsibly towards the environment and society. While realizing this goal, we recognize our obligation to:
Trading Depot has been selling a Vitra since the summer of 2011 and has a wide range of their product lines available to purchase on-line.
VitrA’s quest is to create complete and satisfying bathroom environments. This means transforming often overlooked spaces into something more than a necessity of modern life. It’s about creating an enjoyable experience by changing perceptions of (and thus our interaction with) the bathroom.
To realise this ambition, VitrA employs a large in-house design studio and collaborates with a world-class array of acclaimed industrial designers. These talented individuals not only improve bathroom aesthetics, but functionality as well.
VitrA garnered prestigious design awards with the İstanbul Collection designed by Ross Lovegrove, including the Wallpaper Design Award for Best Bathroom, a Good Design Award, a Red Dot Design Award, and an Elle Deco International Design Award in the bathroom category. Distinguished designer Defne Koz and her stunning İznik Collection were also recognized with a Red Dot Design Award.
