One of the most popular home improvements by the UK population according to a recent report by NAEA is updating internal door. Top of the list is of course re-decorating but fifth on the list is updating internal and external doors with 28% of respondents having updated them in the last five years.
Why have so many updated their house doors? Often when people move in, they are the standard basic style from a builder or a legacy cavity door from the late 20th Century. New styles can also be used to create more room with pocket sliding and also glazed to let more natural light through from room to room.
We are delighted to have partnered with Deanta doors and have uploaded their catalogue of internal wooden doors to our buy on-line web site. They have a huge range of styles and are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) meaning all of their pre-finished doors are made from FSC certified material. The FSC is the body that certifies global forests ensuring the highest environmental and social standards are met. Deanta manufactures their doors in their own manufacturing facility which allows them to have full control of the quality control process to ensure every door that leaves our factory is of the very highest standard. Deanta only uses hand-picked veneers from North America and the pre-finished oak and walnut veneers feature solid cores, so you can ensure you’re buying the best. The doors have the largest lippings available in the UK internal door market with 18mm lippings around the entire door meaning a total of 32mm can be taken off the height and width of all our standard doors. This is tremendously useful for your carpenter when coming to hang the doors and ultimate install flexibility.
