We recently had a closer look at the benefits of the Stuart Turner Flomate mains boost pump (46574), which is ideal for boosting the incoming mains supply to a house with a single kitchen or bathroom. The compact and easy fit pump is designed to be installed underneath the kitchen sink and deliver an additional 1.5 bar pressure to the existing mains pressure and a maximum flow rate of 12 litres per minute (starting automatically when the rate drops below 0.6 litres per minute). However some larger properties with greater occupancies often require a higher demand for water pressure that the standard Flomate cannot supply.
Performance on Demand.
The Flomate Mains Boost Extra pumps are ideal for larger properties with multiple bathrooms and outlets. The Mains Boost Extra pumps are also connected to the incoming mains, and combine all of the benefits of the Flomate pump, but feature an additional storage of water via a pressure vessel. The Flomate Extra pumps offer a solution for a range of property sizes and are available with water storage pressure vessels ranging in size from 60 litres to 300 litres. See the table below for a guide of which Flomate would be recommended for your property or level of demand.
