Warmup loose wire heating system should cover approx 95% of the open floor area. They are 2mm in diameter & ultra thin.

    Floor Coverings

    Tiles & Stone

The best type of flooring to use with underfloor heating is tile and stone. Tile & stone have high thermal conductivity, which means that they transfer heat efficiently from a warm water pipe or heating cable to the floor surface. Tile & stone retain heat well making the system more economic to run whilst also heating up quickly. Electric underfloor heating under tiles or stones is desired in bathrooms, kitchens and high heat loss areas - this is due to the excellent thermal properties they possess - they can be heated to 29°C.

It takes the chill out of the tiles and you are able to control your heating with a thermostat which means your home is warm when you want and can be turned off when you are not home. Tiles made from cork or rubber are not suitable for use with underfloor heating.

    Vinyl

Vinyl floorings are suitable for use with underfloor heating. There a 4 different types of vinyl flooring that differ in their properties and therefore in there requirements for an underfloor heating system. Amtico, Karndean, Click vinyl and Tarkett floor. It is worth checking with the vinyl flooring manufacturers on the type of underfloor heating that is suitable to use with their product as some only allow the use of underfloor heating systems embedded within a screed/levelling compound.

It is recommended the DCM-PRO, StickyMat or Loose Wire systems are best to be installed in wet rooms with vinyl floors - such as bathrooms. It is also recommended that in dry rooms such as bedrooms, living rooms, hallways ect the WarmUp Foil heater systems is best to be used.

    Insulation Boards

Using underfloor heating insulation boards in your installation signifantly reduces heat up times and running costs. They are recommended for use with electric underfloor heating as they prevent the heat escaping downwards to the subfloor. Underfloor heating insulation boards 6mm, underfloor heating insulation boards 10mm, underfloor heating insulation boards 20mm & underfloor heating insulation boards 50mm.

The heat gets pushed upwards onto the floor surface where you want the heat to go.

The Warmup Insulation Boards are manufactured from water-resistant extruded polystyrene finished on both faces and with a thin layer of fibreglass reinforced cement. Each board is designed to hold 30 tonnes per square metre. The Insulation boards contain a cement coating which is 0.5mm thick which provides an excellent surface for tile adhesive, plaster and leveling compounds with no primer required.

Due to their waterproof properties, Warmup insulation boards can also be used to insulate bathroom and shower walls. Tiles can be applied straight onto the insulation boards without any preparation required.

    Safety Net Installation Guarantee

If you accidently damage the heating system during installation, return it to Warmup and they will replace it with another heater of the same make and model free.

    Lifetime Limited Warranty

This product comes with a Lifetime Warranty. Warmup are very confident in the standards of their products
