JG Speedfit is a push-fit system from John Guest Ltd. It is designed for use with the plumbing of hot and cold water services and central heating applications, including pressurised and combi systems.
The JG Speedfit range includes a large range of Underfloor Heating System components which are all designed and manufactured in accordance with UK and European standards including ISO 9001 and DIN 4726.
The Speedfit System for Underfloor Heating is quick and easy to install. The System uses water pumped from a boiler or other heat source to a pump pack where it is mixed to approximately 50ºC then distributed via a manifold to heating circuits made using Speedfit Barrier Pipe. The temperature and volume of water is altered to maintain the requirements of the system. The pipe is laid in concrete or suspended just below the surface of timber flooring.
A wide range of thermostats and controls are available so you can have as much or as little control as you need.
Layflat Barrier Pipe
JG Speedfit Layflat Polybutylene barrier pipe has a huge amount of flexibility ion comparison to many other makes of plumbing pipe. This flexibility makes the pipe perfect for long runs especially where cabling through joists. When removed from the coil, the pipe keeps straight and 'lays flat' meaning there are no issues with the pipe retaining its memory and trying to coil back into place. At the centre of the pipe wall is an oxygen barrier which prevents air getting into the system - and therefore reducing the effect of corrosion on any metal components.
The push-fit solution for UK domestic plumbing and heating systems. Simply pushing a pipe into a fitting produces a permanent leakproof connection. The low insertion force needed to make a connection means Speedfit is especially easy to install. Speedfit fittings are suitable for both copper and Speedfit barrier pipe.
Mains Water Fittings
MDPE fittings are simple to fit with no tools required. They are fast to install and very durable with a high resistance to impact.
