The Liff Limefighter Compact from BWT is a professional quality magnetic inline scale inhibitor and scale reducer. Designed for easy installation, its compact size and high quality finish makes it ideal for where space is limited or the installation is visible. Requiring no power supply or chemicals, the compact range requires no maintenance and zero chemicals. How does BWT Limefighter prevent limescale build up? The Limefighter Compact magnetic scale inhibitor works by encouraging the formation of larger, needle shaped crystals, as opposed to the normal small cubic pattern found in hard untreated water. This reduces the stickiness of the scale forming crystals and enables them to be washed away by the flow of the water. The effect on the water is temporary, making them ideal for the protection of individual appliances.
