The 40000 BTU stainless steel burner provides clean and smokeless burn, helping to retain the warmth longer. The electronic ignition system starts and adjusts the flame easily. The fire pit table features a thermocouple that senses when the flame goes out or the temperature drops and closes the valve. Protective spark guard mesh protects from flying sparks. The fire pit comes with a waterproof cover providing protection when not in use
