Double Heat Spreader Plate System - Fitted From Above

JG Speedfit's double spreader plate system is designed for use with timber suspended or battened floors. Aluminium spreader plates use the heat from the 15mm barrier pipe and transfer it evenly across the floor surface. They can be used in two ways: 1. Below a floor - supported by insulation 2.Where a secondary layer of floor will be fitted above a sheet of sub floor the spreader plates can be situated between the two layers on battens. This second method is more efficient with a double layer floor as it has one less layer for the heat to pass through.
